Circled, negative circled, parenthesized and squared numbers and letters for lists and labels.

Circled numbers ① to ⑳ are in the Enclosed Alphanumerics block; ㉑ to ㊿ continue in Enclosed CJK Letters and Months, which is why their design often differs. White-on-black versions ❶ to ❿ come from Dingbats.

All of these have compatibility decompositions: NFKC turns ① into 1 and ⑴ into (1). That makes them unreliable as list numbering in data that will be normalized, and screen readers may announce them inconsistently, so prefer real list markup in HTML and keep these for labels and diagrams.
